1/1/2006 - What Can SRSP Do for You



The Sponsored Research Support Program (SRSP) was created by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRAA), Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) and The Geneva Foundation to provide proposal development support to WRAIR investigators, to increase extramural funding and collaborative research at WRAIR. 

                                               
Staff at WRAIR are available to assist you to:

  • Identify extramural funding opportunities
  • Perform customized funding searches
  • Review sponsor's guidelines
  • Serve as a liaison with the sponsor for gathering information and marketing the
  • Promote WRAIR researcher's unique capabilities
  • Review proposals for scientific content
  • Assist with revisions of unfunded submissions
  • Assist in the development of the abstract, backgrounds, and narrative
  • Develop budgets and organize the administrative aspects of the application
  • Edit proposals for content, grammar, and completeness
  • Submit proposals on your behalf
  • Negotiate budgets and award terms
  • Coordinate award notification
  • Provide post award administration
  • Mentor WRAIR researchers through the entire proposal writing process
  • Conduct and coordinate professional development and informational workshops on identifying funding opportunities and grantsmanship
