7/8/2010 - What Can SRSP Do for You

 NIH

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for conducting and supporting medical research. NIH has a budget of over $27 billion and spends 80% of those dollars on research grants.

CRISP Database
The NIH CRISP Database is a searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects. The database can be searched for scientific concepts, emerging trends and techniques, or identify specific projects or investigators. The database includes projects funded by the following organizations: National Institutes of Health (NIH), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ), and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health (OASH).
